Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has created a lasting impression on television. In the year 1976 De La Garza was born with a Mexican-American dad and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas then moved back to Orlando Florida where she experienced numerous acting roles such as local independent films as well as worldwide commercials. Despite having small roles she discovered her passion in acting. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. The year 2006 was the time she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was in 85 episodes. She then migrated to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The particular character garnered De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even multiple ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments later. She played Marisol Delko's wife, and was the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she has been seen most recently on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Her family was an orthodox and religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter brought her to a talent show. Milano was one of the four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in commercials for television as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical version to Jane Eyre.
