Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on the 19th of November, 1973 in London. She was born in London, to a Chinese mother and a French father. At the age of five the family relocated from Chinese to Canada. Prior to her acting career, she modeled at Paris as a model on the catwalk. Her debut film was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). The role earned her a Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise In Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas, Dance with the Murderer and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force followed. Also, she appeared in an appearance as a guest on Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force. For John Woo s The Thief she played a major role in the development of the show for 22 episodes. In 2004, the film Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was released, and can be seen only on DVDVHS and Resident Evil Apocalypse was released. After a series of smaller role in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway as well as other films, she was offered her first big role as a main character. The career of Holt began when she appeared in appearing as a guest on television, and in smaller films. Holt then took the part of the leader in Hostages which was released in 2013 as well as a supporting character in Netflix's House of Cards. The year 2015 saw her portrayed Julie Han in The Returned's US remake and cast her as the character Dr. Bethany Exner.
